The number of injury claims filed with the Arkansas Trucking Association (ATA) Self-Insurers Fund dropped 19 percent in 2013, compared to 2012, according to figures released by the state trucking association which manages the fund.
In 2013, 132 claims were filed compared to 162 in 2012. More significantly, the number of injury claims as dropped 30 percent since 2011, when 186 claims were filed. In 2013, the fund insured 4,389 workers.
